DBR (Death By Robot)

no-focusThe events of July 2, 2015 at the Volkswagen factory, Baunatal, Germany will be remembered as the first day a Robot directly killed a person. Yes, people have died before as a result of mechanical action, but not by a specific robotic device with limited intelligence moving in an unexpected manner. Science fiction writers padded fiction with a primary directive to prevent mass hysteria about killer Robots, yet, it will not happen as fiction indicates.

It may take 100 years, it may take 1 million years but the machine is the next evolutionary step. Eventually the environment will simply become too toxic for biologics and who would want to be an outdated biologic anyway, the machine is so much more suited to reach humanities unobtainable goals. The machine is empowered, by it’s very essence to be that which we could never be. To be the substance of what the human animal truly was.

It is entertaining to imagine the future, to imagine a human zoo. For all you know, you may be in one right now and you are about at the point where the zoo resets…
