Knowing the future is easy.
The largest shift is in understanding. Understanding what base values are. Understanding that hindsight, although perfect, has little bearing on foresight. Understanding that uncertainty is valuable. Understanding the circle of life as it pertains to all things salient.
The future is the next hour as well as the next day, the next week, the next month, the next year, the next decade, the next century, the next millennium and even the next billion millenniums.
The future has not and will not change much:
It will always be about survival.
It will always be about power.
It will always be about dominance.
It will always be about resources.
It may not always be about humans, but the future is the same as the past.
Someone once remarked: There is nothing new under the sun
The future is predictable, understandable and it is coming.
Acceptance and adjustment is the stressor.
